From 1976 he has performed with: John Tchicai and Strange Brothers, New Jungle Orchestra, Jan Kaspersen, Doug Raney, Okay Temiz... and with own groups, a.o. "Spacetrain" with Ben Besiakov, Jesper Lundgaard and Alex Riel.
From 1985 until 1998 permanent resident in Paris, member of Andy Emler Megaoctet, Nguyen Lê "Tales of Vietnam", Orchestre National de Jazz ('91-'94), Edouard Ferlet Quintet, Quintet Moutin, Nene Sextet, duo and quartet with Denis Badault, own groups with a.o. Alain Jean-Marie, Richard Bona, Xavier Desandre, Francois Verly, Bojan Z., Nguyen Lê.
Back in Copenhagen from 1996 concerts mainly with his own groups such as the tentet "Central Earth", a collective group called "Flower Machine" with Thomas Agergaard, Klavs Hovman and Marilyn Mazur, "Ear Witness" with Emil Spanyi, Linley Marthe and Felix Sabal-Lecco, Trio with Simon Goubert and Michel Zenino, Quartet with Franck Tortiller, Yves Torchinsky and Francois Laizeau and more recently a New 5tet quintet (two saxophones, trombone, bass and drums), the other sax being Bob Rockwell.
