hellmüllersisera entstand eher zufällig durch eine Konzertanfrage für einen Auftritt in Verona. Die selbe Spontaneität, die zur Gründung des Duos führte, macht den eigentlichen Zauber der Zusammenarbeit der beiden in der Schweiz in vielen Jazz-Combos anzutreffenden Musiker aus. Ihre Natürlichkeit und ihre Leidenschaft für die Jazzmusik blieb denn auch weiteren Veranstaltern nicht verborgen. Nur verlangten diese ein Demo des Duos. Mit der vorliegenden Einspielung schliesst sich nun diese Lücke. Die 11 Tracks – allesamt Lieblingsstücke der beiden – wurden an einem Nachmittag, am 20. April 2005, in einem kleinen, lauschigen, portugiesischen Club (Vasco da Gama in Luzern) eingespielt. Im warmen Ambiente des Clubs, unterbrochen von längeren Kaffee-, Zigaretten- und Diskussionspausen, wurden die Stücke spontan und zwanglos eingespielt... oder eher «gejamt». Dabei ging es stets darum, die Essenz der einzelnen Stücke ins Zentrum zu rücken. Beim Zuhören ist die Spielfreude der beiden langjährigen Freunde allgegenwärtig. hellmüllersisera haben durch ihre gemeinsame Leidenschaft und ihre Freundschaft ein musikalisches Zuhause geschaffen, welches dem vorliegenden Tonträger seinen Namen gibt: Das Album heisst schlicht «home». Unterdessen ist aus dem spontanen Projekt ein ernsthaftes Duo geworden. Ernsthaft dabei ist jedoch lediglich die Absicht, gemeinsam zu musizieren – Spontaneität, Leidenschaft und Natürlichkeit werden nämlich auch in Zukunft die Markenzeichen von hellmüllersisera bleiben. ********************************************************************************************** hellmüllersisera started out as the result of a coincidence, a concert organized by a promoter in Verona. The spontaneity which led to the duo’s creation continues to influence their music and lends it a magic unique to these two musicians, who are regularly seen and heard with many jazz-combos in Switzerland. The natural quality and passion found in their music did not go unnoticed by other concert promoters. However they required a demo. This recording will close the gap. The 11 tracks, all favourites of the two, were recorded during one afternoon session on the 20th of April 2005 in a small, idyllic Portugese club (Vasco Da Gama in Lucerne). In the warm club ambience, in between long coffee, cigarette and discussion breaks, the compositions were recorded spontaneously... actually they were «jammed». Still, the focus remained on highlighting the essence of each piece. Listening to this recording, one hears the duo’s sheer joy in music-making. hellmüllersisera have, through passion for music and a long-lasting friendship, created a musical home which gives the present recording its name «home». The album completes a spontaneous project’s journey to becoming a duo with serious intentions to go on making music together. Spontaneity, passion and a natural feeling will, also in the future, continue to be the recognizable features of hellmüllersisera. ******************************************************************************** Hellmüllersisera è una produzione che è stata creata occasionalmente nell'ambito di una richiesta per un concerto da farsi a Verona. La medesima spontaneità, che ha portato alla costituzione del duo, rappresenta pure la magia della collaborazione dei 2 musicisti che si incontrano di frequente in molti complessi jazz in Svizzera La loro naturalezza e la loro passione per la musica jazz non è sicuramente passata inosservata ad altri imprenditori di manifestazioni musicali. Proprio questi avevano richiesto una produzione dimostrativa al duo. Questa produzione ha colmato la lacuna. Le 11 composizioni "i brani preferiti dei due musicisti" sono state registrate durante un pomeriggio, in data 20 aprile 2005, in un piccolo, appartato club portoghese, il "Vasco da Gama" a Lucerna. Nel caldo ambiente di questo club queste composizioni sono state suonate e registrate in modo spontaneo e senza vincolo alcuno, quasi fosse una semplice "jamsession", in un alternarsi di pause per caffé, sigarette e qualche discussione. Nell'ascoltare questo CD è sempre presente la gioia di suonare dei due amici che si conoscono da lunga data. Hellmüllersisera hanno saputo creare un loro mondo musicale particolare e ciò si è concretizzato grazie alla loro comune passione per la musica e profonda amicizia, non da ultimo il titolo del loro album si intitola "Home" (casa). Riassumendo, il progetto spontaneo iniziale ha dato vita ad un duo serio. E seriamente ci si può porre la seguente domanda: continueranno a suonare insieme? Comunque sia, il duo Hellmüllersisera emergerà sempre anche in futuro per la sua spontaneità, passione e naturalezza.
